The Story of Angela Csapo

Angela Csapo is a master weaver based in Kaposvár, Hungary, with a weaving journey that began in 1988. Deeply connected to Hungarian folk traditions, Angela's work reflects her dedication to preserving the beauty of her homeland’s textile heritage while incorporating influences from cultures around the world.

For Angela, weaving is not just a craft but a means of telling stories. Each of her loom-woven fabrics carries personal meaning for the wearer and is often imbued with the rich history of folk groups, whose traditions she carefully studies.
