The Made To Order Process

Kafi Folk began it's journey in Budapest with a 'Made To Order' production style. Each order would be created only if pre ordered and we would ship on a date provided at the time of purchase. This process is very much close to our hearts as it is how we began 5 years ago.

It is a carefully curated process by our founder and the reason why each Kafi Folk piece is an heirloom treasure to keep for many years to come. Our hand block printed fabrics arrive from our long term (and very precious!) partners in Jaipur, India and are beautifully made into special treasures by our local Hungarian seamstress.

Our extra details such as tassels are hand made by a local Hungarian weaver. Each piece is then packed by our founder and shipped to you at the given date in each product description before pre -ordering.

Collection Design & Pattern Making

Each of our designs is a combination of our founders favorite styles from pieces in the past and shapes that made her feel comfortable and feminine at same time with practicality at the forefront.

1-2 new patterns are added each season and are made and designed here in Budapest.
