Our Shirt Dress has been loom woven and sewn by the inspiring Saheli Women team in Jodhpur. It is crafted from hand-dyed, loom woven cotton known as 'Ikat' fabric.
Our Saheli Shirt Dress:
- is made with hand-dyed, loom woven cotton
- is suitable for sizing between S-L and comes in 3 height options that differ by 5cm only on the length and arm length only (please see size chart for detailed measurements).
- comes with detachable belt (4cm thick) that you can adjust according to comfort
- finished with handmade coconut buttons
- comes with illustration & story of artisan that made the piece
- packed in upcycled sari fabric bag with embroidered Kafi Folk logo
Our Saheli Shirt is a stylish edition to any wardrobe and can be worn as an evening dress with heels or made casual worn over jeans and a top, opened at the front.

This garment has been loom woven and sewn by the inspiring all-female initiative The Saheli Women.
The Saheli Women
The Saheli Women is a branch of IPHD aiming to financially
empower the ladies of Bhikamkor village in rural Rajasthan, India through creating ethical and sustainable fashion.
In their center they learn traditional crafts such as embroidery, block printing, hand loom weaving, and natural fabric dyeing.
Each garment comes with an illustration of the artisan who made that piece and a short story about them.

This Kafi Folk garment is crafted from hand-dyed, loom woven fabric known as 'Ikat' fabric.
Ikat Fabric
Ikat Fabric originated from Southeast Asia. The technique creates many stunning patterns in a variety of colours and each one is unique. It is skillfully crafted by tie and dying the design into the yarn before the fabric is woven on a wooden loom.

All our Kafi Folk garments are made from Cotton.
To care for your 100% Cotton KAFI correctly, we suggest the following washing instructions: Select a delicate 30°C wash cycle. Place in a wash bag for delicates. For best results; wash alone without any other garments. Air dry only. Iron only on a 'cotton' setting. Always wash before use.

Shipment dates for each Kafi Folk piece are provided in the description. Once your order is ready, we will send you another email to confirm it has been shipped.
Our Kafi creations are made to order to maintain a sustainable process. For this reason, we do not offer refunds unless the Kafi you received is defected in some way. If this is the case, please contact us at hello@kafifolk.com within 24 hours with your email and order ID number and images of the defect you noticed. Please view our 'Returns & Exchanges policy'
