Founder & Heart Behind The Brand

Kafi Folk began as a simple clothing brand, gradually evolving into a platform that celebrates craftsmanship and the people behind our creations. While creating unique collections that tell stories of craft and people has always been a passion, I started to feel that it wasn’t the only way Kafi Folk could make an impact. When we hosted our first workshops last year, it sparked a realization that there’s so much more I can offer, and a deeper purpose for Kafi Folk to fulfil. I feel right now more than ever, a growing need for community and in myself, a sense of responsibility to help in ways that align with my own passions.

In my own life, I find joy in creating meaningful connections in all the things I do. I like to inspire people to be the best they can be. I like to see people develop skills that will help their lives become more fruitful or easier. To see people smiling with a joy that comes from real contentment. I am passionate about handmade. I support tradition and uphold values that encourage kindness, understanding and equality. I love Saturday morning market runs, a beautifully laid table, a seasonal bouquet of flowers, cooking dinner for my friends, the colours of nature, art, animals, reading and connecting with my inner voice and that of our creator. All in all, I believe in living thoughtfully, finding beauty in the everyday, and making choices that enhance life's richness and meaning.

My career has been rich and varied—from teaching to wedding planning to flower styling to  establishing my own clothing brand. These experiences have all taught me that life is most beautiful when shared and celebrated with others and now it’s time I bring all this experience together into one.

So in 2025, Kafi Folk has been reborn as a lifestyle brand dedicated to fostering a space where we can learn, grow, and celebrate life together. Through workshops, retreats, dinners, and events, we aim to nurture creativity
and connection. Whether it's flower arranging, cooking, book clubs, embroidery, farming, or hosting intimate gatherings, every experience offers an opportunity to engage deeply with our hands and hearts to make life a richer place to be.

Kafi Folk will continue to offer crafted clothing in both made-to-order collections and ready-to-wear drops. In addition to this, our shop will also include pieces born from our collaborations across all areas of community building. Each item will be a reflection of our shared journey, springing from an organic desire to create. These offerings are more than just products; they are expressions of love and artistry, designed to inspire and foster a supportive, vibrant community.

In my opinion, it is our responsibility to ‘be what we want to see in the world’. So here I am, creating a space to do just that. Thank you for being part of this journey.
