RETREAT DETAILS
Held in the peaceful and stunning Hungarian countryside, this retreat is designed to nourish your soul, ignite creativity, and offer a deeper connection to the land through hands-on experiences.
Our journey begins with an afternoon at Terra Szanda, a space dedicated to regeneration, connection, and intentional living, founded by Rozi Tóth and Onno Fernig in the village of Szanda. After a warm welcome with seasonal refreshments, Onno will guide us through a hands-on gardening session, exploring soil health, seasonal planting, and the connection between land and nourishment.
In the evening, we’ll gather for an aperitif and amuse-bouche, sharing reflections on the day’s experiences. This will be followed by a seasonal family-style dinner cooked by private chef Noémi Matis from Noemi and Her Kitchen, featuring local produce and fresh ingredients from the Terra garden, closing the day with tea and conversations on food, sustainability, and mindful living.
The next day, we’ll dive into the art of natural dyeing with Sara from Botanika, using plant-based dyes to craft a one-of-a-kind Kafi Folk Tunic Kaftan. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the healing properties of flora in a natural skincare workshop with Zita from Mar Galliti Skin Care & Botanicals, blending a personalized face mask using botanical ingredients known for their restorative benefits.
On the final morning, we’ll celebrate the beauty of nature with a seasonal crown workshop led by Maja from Virágos Pagony, weaving together fresh blooms picked from their flower farm in Fót.
Beyond the workshops, each guest will receive a special curated welcome pack filled with locally made gifts and a handmade notebook to document their journey of reconnection during the retreat.
VENUE & ACCOMMODATION
Nestled in the Hungarian countryside in the picturesque village of Nógrád Megye, our chosen accommodation and venue for the retreat is the charming Noha Terény. This cozy location is an eco-conscious accommodation, creative, and community space situated on nearly one hectare of rolling hills in Terény, Nógrád County.
The chosen house for accommodation is the ‘Szarvas House,’ which can comfortably accommodate up to seven guests in a communal setting, featuring two well-appointed bathrooms. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, Noha Terény provides the perfect setting for our immersive retreat, offering both comfort and a deep connection to nature.
*Please Note: Noha Terény venue is a shared community space, meaning other retreats may be taking place in different areas of the property during our time here. While our retreat activities will remain private, you may encounter other guests in common areas. As our goal is to build relationships and foster community, we have chosen this location in the hope that it will provide opportunities for connection and shared inspiration during your stay.
PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
With only 7 spots available, this workshop offers an exclusive and intimate experience. The fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation or a no-show, as it covers all the carefully prepared materials and activities, including personalized instruction, natural dye supplies, floral arrangements, skincare ingredients, meals, and the unique setting in the Hungarian countryside. However, you are welcome to transfer your spot to someone else, so they can enjoy this thoughtfully curated retreat.
Total Retreat Price: 370.000 HUF / 925 Euro
The retreat is payable in three affordable monthly installments:
1st installment: 115.000 HUF / 287,5 Euro - Due at the time of booking to secure your spot.
2nd installment: 127.500 HUF / 318,75 Euro - Due on April 10th, payment request will be sent via email.
3rd installment: 127.500 HUF / 318,75 Euro - Due on May 10th, payment request will be sent via email.
